Wine and magic planned New Year’s Eve

PORT TOWNSEND — Joey Pipia will bring a little magic to the end of 2016 with a full performance of The Magic Chamber at the Wine Seller on Saturday night.

The one-hour show at 9 p.m. will be preceded by an hour of wine-tasting beginning at 8 p.m. at the Wine Seller at 1010 Water St.

Seating to Wine &Wonder is limited. Only those 21 and older may attend. Tickets are available online at http://tinyurl.com/PDN- wine-wonder.

After wine-tasting, the show will be in the upstairs gallery at the Wine Seller, “so you’ll have plenty of time after to be wherever you need to be for midnight,” Pipia said in a news release.

For fans of The Magic Chamber, he promises, “at least one brand-new effect.”

Pipia, who lives in Port Townsend, toured The Magic Chamber through the Pacific Northwest culminating in a three-week run at the Intiman Theatre in Seattle.

He has appeared in film, on TV and on stages across the country as well as on cruise ships.

“The magic happens literally inches away from your eyes,” Pipia said.

“No fancy boxes, no smoke or mirrors. It’s the ultimate challenge; up close, fast paced and amazing.”

The Wine Seller’s wine tasting features wines from around the world.

For information, call Pipia at 360-774-2202.
