PORT ANGELES — The 24th annual Bring Your Own Art Show at Studio Bob is one of several venues featuring unique artwork during the Second Saturday Art Walk in Port Angeles.
Also offering special events this Saturday will be Harbor Art Gallery and Cabled Fiber & Yarn.
The free, all-ages, dog-friendly event at Studio Bob at 118½ E. Front St. will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, with the reception continued from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Saturday night, music by Tin Sandwich and Guests will play from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, the onsite Loom Bar will serve small plate appetizers, special warm cocktails, mocktails and wine, beer and cider.
The popular Bring Your Own Art show encourages locals, from those just beginning to express themselves to established artists, to exhibit their work in a professionally lit gallery.
Up to three pieces from one person can be exhibited. Art can be for sale or not. If it is sold, Studio Bob takes no commission.

Harbor Art
Harbor Art Gallery will showcase work centered around water in January’s special exhibit.
“Water is fundamental to who were are, living here on the coast,” said Tammy Hall, a painter and sculptor.
Visitors can meet many of the artists at the gallery, at 114 N. Laurel St., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Many of the 22 member artists will show their water-themed creations in a wide range of media, including painting, photography, textiles, ceramics, printmaking, jewelry and sculpture.
“The variety of styles is what keeps people coming back,” said Haley Snider, a painter.
This month, the gallery is wishing a fond farewell to photographers and longtime members Roger Mosley and Eric Neurath, and welcoming talented artists Becky Stinnett and Carol Marshall.
“I am constantly inspired by the breathtaking landscapes that define this region,” Stinnett said.
Harbor Art Gallery showcases work by local artists Bob Stokes, Cindy Elstrom, Robert Amaral, Garret DeLaBarre, Terri Enck, Katie Graham, Carolyn Guske, Tammy Hall, Susan Kantowitz, Carol Marshall, Nancy McFaul, Gail McLain, Miranda Petruska, Steve Portner, Randy and Sallie Radock, Jodi Riverstone, Nathan Shields, Lance and Haley Snider, Becky Stinnett, Eileen Webb, Kevin Willson and Andrèa Woods.
Harbor Art Gallery is routinely open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Cabled Fiber & Yarn
Cabled Fiber & Yarn, 125 W. First St., will present felting artist Jillian Gericke from Woodland & Wool Creations at the Second Saturday Art Walk from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Visitors can meet Gericke, explore her felt creations and discuss her work.
Gericke is available for custom wool felted creations and for custom wool pet sculptures.
Recently relocated to Port Angeles, Gericke moved from a small community outside of Mount Rainier National Park. Over the last decade, she has filled many different roles within the National Park Service — as an interpretive ranger, on wildlife research crews, on trail crews and currently as a wilderness ranger.
