Valentine crafts, dances, cookies scheduled

Valentine crafts, dances and cookies are coming up on the North Olympic Peninsula.

SEQUIM

Valentine crafts

SEQUIM — The North Olympic Library System will host “Valentine’s Crafts for All Ages” from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today.

The family-friendly, valentine-themed craft night is at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.

Participants can enjoy snacks while they create Valentine’s Day-themed letters, cards and crafts.

Valentines may be kept or left with library staff who will deliver them to residents at local memory care facilities.

Spaghetti dinner

SEQUIM — The Sequim Prairie Grange will host its annual spaghetti dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.

The meal will be served in the grange hall at 290 Macleay Road.

Dinner cost $10 per person.

Valentine dance concert

SEQUIM — Sequim Elks will host a dance and concert from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday.

The dance is at the Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road.

Music will be performed by Tony and the Roundabouts playing classic jazz, swing, juke joint tunes, waltzes and rock.

Admission is $10 per person, $8 for Elks members.

PORT TOWNSEND

Balkan dance

PORT TOWNSEND — A Balkan folk dance party is planned at Quimper Grange at 7 p.m. Friday.

The dance will be at the grange hall at 1219 Corona Ave.

Admission is $5 to $20 on a sliding scale.

Folk-rock concert

PORT TOWNSEND — Ray Troll and the Ratfish Wranglers will perform at 7 p.m. Friday.

The concert will be at The Palindrome, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the door or online at www.brownpapertickets.com.

PORT ANGELES

Masonic bingo

PORT ANGELES — Mason’s Lodge 69 will host bingo from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

The lodge is at 622 S. Lincoln St.

Proceeds benefit Lodge programs.

Books and cookies

FORKS — Fifth- and sixth-grade students can meet for cookies, book conversations and hands-on activities from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday.

The free program meets on the first Friday of each month at the Forks Library, 171 S. Forks Ave.
