PORT ANGELES — The Juan de Fuca Foundation will bring the stage-stomping entertainment of the National Dance Co. of Ireland with “Rhythm of the Dance” at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $18 to $38 for the show at Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, 304 E. Park Ave. They are available at jffa.org; Port Book and News, 104 E. First St.; and Joyce News Music, 112 W. Washington St., Sequim.

The “Rhythm of the Dance” show has won critical acclaim across four continents and 50 countries and gained more than 7 million fans around the world, according to a news release.

Now in its 20th anniversary year, “Rhythm of the Dance” continues to showcase Irish dance and music. The show has undergone a process of renewal, reinvigorating the choreography and music.

Producer Kieran Cavanagh said he hopes the updated format of the show will be a breath of fresh air into Irish dance with this traditionally rooted and authentic production.

The live band consists of top-notch musicians who play a vast array of musical instruments which include the traditional uilleann pipes, Irish bodhran, fiddles, flutes, accordions, banjo and whistles.
