Tickets on sale Monday for Festival of Trees events

PORT ANGELES — Tickets will go on sale Monday for the Festival of Trees Teddy Bear Tea presented by Erika Ralston Word of Windermere and the Gala presented by First Federal.

The gala is set for Nov. 29 and the tea is scheduled for Nov. 30.

Tickets also are available for Family Days presented by The Lodge at Sherwood Village, Sherwood Assisted living and Fifth Avenue Retirement Center, as well as for the Senior Breakfast presented by The Cottages of Sequim and Opening Ceremonies presented by the Jamestown Tribe.

Tickets can be purchased by going to www.omhf.org, by calling 360-417-7144 or by going to the Olympic Medical Center Foundation office at 1015 Georgiana St. in Port Angeles.

Now in its 34th year, the annual event is a four-day fundraiser for the foundation. Elaborately decorated Christmas trees and wreaths created by some of the area’s best designers will be featured.

The complete list of events includes:

• Opening ceremonies, 5 p.m. Nov. 27. Presented by Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, there will be a lighting of large outdoor decorations and trees, a performance from the Port Angeles Symphony and the tribe, plus a private tree viewing. Tickets are $20 each.

• Senior breakfast, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 29. Presented by The Cottages of Sequim, breakfast will be served for all ages, entertainment and tree viewing. Tickets are $16 each.

• Festival of Trees Gala, 4:30 p.m. Nov. 29. Presented by First Fed, the event will include a buffet dinner, tree auction and silent auction. Tickets are $110 each.

• Teddy Bear Tea, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Nov. 30. Presented by Erika Ralston Word of Windermere, the event is for parents and children. Santa will make his first appearance at the event and will be available for photos with each child. Photos will be printed and available to pickup immediately following. Tickets are $15 each or $300 for a VIP table of 10.

• Family Days, from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 30 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 1. Presented by The Lodge at Sherwood Village, Sherwood Assisted Living and Fifth Avenue Retirement Center. Attendees will be able to view the trees, purchase raffle tickets, take photos with Santa and hear entertainment. Tickets are $7 each; children younger than 12 get in for free.
