Tickets on sale for Serenity House fundraiser

PORT ANGELES — Tickets are available for the Serenity House of Clallam County’s third fall fundraiser.

The annual event is set for 5 p.m. Nov. 7 at Field Arts & Events Hall, 201 W. Front St., Port Angeles.

Tickets are $50 at www.serenityhouseclallam.org/fundraiser or by calling 360-452-7973.

There will be no ticket sales at the door.

Attendees will hear the shelter’s annual report along with an update of the goals and challenges of meeting the needs of the homeless and those in need of housing assistance on the Peninsula.

The fundraiser will feature catering by The Goat and Radish, wine, a silent auction and music by students from Port Angeles High School.

Serenity House provides assistance with rent and move-in costs; 152 shelter beds, including six hospital respite beds; eight family shelter spaces; housing at three apartment sites and full-time jobs for 69 people.
