Tickets on sale for Live United prom

SEQUIM — Tickets are on sale for the United Way of Clallam County’s Live United Prom, which is set for April 27.

The annual awards gala will be at Club 7 at 7 Cedars Resort, 270756 U.S. Highway 101. Tickets, which are $85 per person, $160 for couples and $600 for a table of eight, can be purchased at https://liveunited prom.givesmart.com.

This year’s Galaxy Glam-themed prom combines elements of a traditional prom, such as corsages, photos and a live DJ with benefits of adulthood, including a full bar with signature drinks and a catered dinner.

The live United Awards honor individuals, businesses and organizations that have made an extraordinary contribution to the United Way’s fundraising campaign.

Nominees for the Safe and Affordable Housing award are:

• The city of Port Angeles.

• Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County.

• Peninsula Behavioral Health.

The Strong and Secure Families award nominees are:

• The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula.

• First Step Family Support Center.

• Olympic Peninsula YMCA.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion award nominees are:

• The North Olympic Library System.

• Peninsula College.

• Sequim-Dungeness Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Additional Live United Awards, for helping make Clallam County a better place to live, will be presented to:

• Odyssey Bookshop, Community Minded Business Award.

• Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Clallam United Award.

• Lexie J. Winters Photography, Campaign Volunteer Award.

Finally, the United Way will recognize outgoing members of its board of directors for their service on the board:

• Corey Delikat.

• Mer Parker.

• Glenn Smithson.

• Chris Szczepczynski.
