Tia Carroll to play Friday at The Palindrome

PORT TOWNSEND — Tia Carroll, California’s Queen of the Blues and Soul, and her Awesome Band will play at The Palindrome in Port Townsend on Friday.

The show will be from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m., at 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road.

Tickets are $30 for general admission and $45 for VIP seats, which encompass the first two rows. They can be purchased at https://tiacarrollpalindrome.rsvpify.com. At the door, the prices will be $35 and $50.

Carroll has accumulated one of the most impressive entertainment resumes in the Bay Area and has become one of the most sought-after female singers on the West Coast. She has shared stages with Ray Charles, Jimmy McCracklin, Syl Johnson, Sugar Pie DeSanto and B.B King, Tommy Castro, Elvin Bishop, Igor Prado and Eric Gales.

Joining Carroll will be Derrick “D’Mar” Martin, former drummer for Little Richard and current drummer for Rick Estrin & The Nightcats; also with The Nightcats, Lorenzo Farrell on keys; with Pacific Northwest favorites Tom Boyle on guitar and Brady Kish on bass.

The show is presented by LTD Presents LIVE, Kat McNeill and Lance Bowman and KPTZ Port Townsend radio.
