PORT TOWNSEND — The Seattle Theatre Group and Adam Zacks will present the third THING music and arts festival this weekend at Fort Worden.
The annual festival features music, comedy and podcast acts and a variety of community-centered performances, programming and workshops each day.
Single-day passes are available for $129.50 per person. Three-day passes are $349.50 at www.thingnw.org, www.stgpresents.org or www.ticketmaster.com. Children 12 and younger are admitted free.
Tent and RV camping passes are also available.
New to the lineup this year are writer, comedian and activist Lindy West, presenting her new comedy show “Every Castle, Ranked”; Kimya Dawson, folk singer-songwriter and co-founder of The Moldy Peaches; and Sativa The Queen, a Seattle-based drag artist.
The festival will also host 28 food trucks and 42 vendors at the THING Market. The market features interactive art installations and a lantern-making booth with a lantern parade each evening.

Friday
• Music: Fleet Foxes, Cigarettes After Sex, SYML, The Budos Band, Kimya Dawson, King Tuff, Ben Lee, Soul Glo, Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, MJ Lenderman and DJ Dadbod.
• Comedy: Kate Berlant.
• Podcasts: Labyrinths with Amanda Knox and Christopher Robinson and Weirder Together Podcast with Ione Skye and Ben Lee.
• Other things: Nabil Ayers In Conversation with John Roderick, More Music @ The Moore, ELEVATE and community workshops.
Saturday
• Music: Sylvan Esso, Lil Yachty, Samia, Mild High Club, Black Country New Road, Laufey, Geese, Hatchie, Grace Love and John Carroll Kirby.
• Comedy: Sarah Sherman.
• Other things: Modern Biology, Sativa The Queen, More Music @ The Moore, ELEVATE, community workshops featuring “DANCE This” from the Seattle Theater Guild, PNW Mic Check and Tribal Storytelling with Barbara Lawrence.
Sunday
• Music: Thundercat, Tash Sultana, Digable Planets, The Beths, Thee Sacred Souls, Kassa Overall, Y La Bamba, High Pulp, King Youngblood and Joseph Keckler.
• Comedy: Jacqueline Novak and Lindy West’s “Every Castle, Ranked.”
• Podcasts: Omnibus with Ken Jennings and John Roderick.
• Other things: More Music @ The Moore, ELEVATE, Community Workshops and Tribal Storytelling with Lois Landgrebe.
The event will also feature emphasis patrols from variety law enforcement agencies, including the State Patrol’s Mobile Impaired Driving Unit.
