PORT ANGELES — Studio Bob at 118½ E. Front St. will headline Saturday’s Second Saturday Art Walk from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a new exhibit and artist reception for “The Art of Theater.”
The Port Angeles Community Players have supplied 25 original wooden seat backs from the former Olympian Theater (formerly The Mack) at 113 E. Front Street from 1920 to 1965, now the parking lot next to Michael’s Restaurant.
These seat backs are almost 100 years old and will be signed out to artists to decorate and adorn to raise funds for the Community Players at an event with the date and details to be determined.
Also on display will be costumes from upcoming plays created by Richard Stephens and others.
This is the last chance to see 18 paintings from the annual “Brush Off” shows before they are installed in the alley behind Studio Bob.
The exhibit at Studio Bob will also be open from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Artists who want to paint a chair back and are unable to attend the event are invited to call Bob Stokes at 415-990-0457.

Also during Second Saturday Art Walk, One of a Kind Gallery at 115 Railroad Ave. Suite 105 will host a reception from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for July’s artists of the month, Debbie Harding and Barb Falk.
Harding moved to Sequim from Santa Rosa, Calif., last summer with her husband, Casey.
Enthralled with the beauty of this area, she has already painted a body of work inspired by her new home.
Currently represented at the Port Townsend Gallery and One Of A Kind Art Gallery in Port Angeles, she has new and past works on display on an ongoing basis.
Harding teaches pastel classes in our area — indoors and en plein air. Some of her ongoing and past involvements includes membership in the Pastel Society of the West Coast, where she participated in several juried PSWC shows, including the PSWC 2017 USA International Open Exhibition.
Barb Falk, also a featured artist, comes from a large family in Wisconsin with six siblings. Being raised in the country on a farm, from early on she developed a strong love and respect for animals and the great outdoors as reflected in many of her acrylic paintings. Her nature-inspired paintings capture the essence of the creatures and natural beauty that she loves.
She is a member of the Olympic Peninsula Art Association and her work has been displayed at various businesses and shows throughout the area.
As a strong advocate for animals and preserving the environment, Falk donates a percentage of her profits to no-kill animal shelters and environmental causes.
Other venues
Harbor Art Gallery, 114 N. Laurel St., will celebrate the art of Terri Enck as the gallery’s artist of the month for July during Art Walk from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
A retired music/classroom teacher, and still a full-time banker, Enck said she spends as much time as possible in her home ceramic studio and her flower garden.
Enck said she is so inspired by the ocean that you can see it in everything from her bowls to her sculptures.
She said she spends a great deal of time just listening to the water, the outdoors and then the earth or clay itself.
This often directs her to something completely different than what she originally had in mind.
The Landing Artists Studio at 115 E Railroad Ave. Suite 103 will feature the work of new watercolor artist David Chastain from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. during Second Saturday Art Walk.
