PORT TOWNSEND — A tree-to-glass weekend is promised during the seventh annual Olympic Peninsula Apple & Cider Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
Individual activities are in Port Townsend and Chimacum. Tickets are $30 for the Cider Saloon at the Palindrome, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road, and $44 for the Orchard Brunch at 220 Pocket Lane in Port Townsend, while the Propolis Fall Fire Party at 2457 Jefferson St. in Port Townsend is free. The Finnriver Apple Day at 124 Center Road in Chimacum has a suggested donation of $5 to $20.

On Saturday will be the Cider Saloon, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and the Propolis Fall Fire party, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Both are for people over 21 years old.
• Cider Saloon will offer more than 30 hard ciders from the Pacific Northwest, live music and food.
A ticket buys 10 hard cider tasting tokens and includes a complimentary tasting glass to take home. Additional tasting tokens can be purchased at the event for $1 each.
Food will be available for purchase for $15 with the choice of cider-infused pulled pork, apple coleslaw, herb mayo sandwich, or “pulled” barbecue lions mane mushroom, apple coleslaw, house made Dijon mustard sandwich.
• Propolis Fall Fire Party will offer music by Captain Peacock and DJ Mark Hardy.
Blujay will serve cuisine featuring Cape Cleare Salmon with Garlic Herb Aioli as well as vegetarian falafel and hummus wraps.
On Sunday will be Orchard Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Finnriver Apple Day from noon to 9 p.m. The brunch is limited to only those 21 and older while the Finnriver Apple Day is open to all ages.
• Orchard Brunch in the Alpenfire Cider Tasting Room offers local food catered by Friendly Nettle and provided by area bakeries along with coffee, tea and Alpenfire hard cider.
The $44-per-plate ticket includes a guided tour of the orchard and cider house with cider master and co-owner of Alpenfire, Bear.
• Finnriver Apple Day will turn no one away for lack of funds although a donation is suggested.
Live music, face painting, a magic show and crafting, makers market, mini golf and an orchard parade are planned along with a cider press with fresh hot cider, hard cider tastings, food and treats.
Tunes by DJ Lunch Lady will be heard from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. followed by the Magic of the Land performance by local magician Ray. Kids and adults will be invited to join in for the Orchard Parade at 4 p.m. and dance to the local favorite Sweater Weather String Band.
The night will be rounded out by Ramblxr, an electronic dance party featuring live bagpipes, fiddle, beats and sampling.
The day also will include Salish Sea Makers Market, featuring Sasquatch Botanicals, HZ Upcycled Leather, Covelands, Atomic Sharkie, Sassafratz Vintage, Urban Forest Art, Folk and Fire Herbcraft, Courting the Wild, Honey and Snail, Feral Fine Arts, Kitty Wake Designs and Wurm Wares.
