StoryWalk set for three park locations

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will sponsor StoryWalk at three city parks in Clallam County starting Saturday through July 3.

The self-guided program will be available at Tillicum Park, Tillicum Lane, Forks; Margaret Kirner Park, South Fourth and Pine streets, Sequim; and Quinn Redlin-Kintner Memorial Park, 1006 Georgiana St., Port Angeles.

Each walk is composed of a series of signs that feature an illustrated page from a popular picture book.

The picture books featured include “I Got the Rhythm” by Connie Schofield-Morrison, “Cat’s Colors” by Airlie Anderson and the bilingual book “Maria Had a Little Llama” / “María Tenía una Llamita” by Angela Dominguez.

Each title will rotate between all three parks.

The program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library groups and the Parks and Recreation Departments in Forks, Port Angeles and Sequim.

For more information, call the library at 360-417-8500, email youth@nols.org or visit www.nols.org.
