Studium Generale
PORT ANGELES — Tess Gallagher and Gary Copeland Lilley will read from their original works at 12:35 p.m. Thursday.
The poetry reading is part of the Studium Generale series in the Little Theater at Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Gallagher is the author of 11 books of poetry, including “Midnight Lantern: New and Selected Poems,” “Dear Ghosts,” and “Moon Crossing Bridge.”
Lilley is the author of eight books of poetry, the most recent being 2017’s “The Bushman’s Medicine Show.’
The Studium will be followed by a book signing in the college’s book store, the Bookaneer.
The Studium is free and open to the public.

Kiwanis to meet
PORT ANGELES — The Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles will hear information about the Clallam County Genealogical Society when it meets at noon Thursday.

SEQUIM — A virtual reality session is set for 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The session is at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
Since virtual reality (VR) has potential safety concerns, participants must be 13 years or older.
Adult participants must sign a release waiver, and each participant between 13 and 17 must have a parent sign a release waiver.
