Stars of Tomorrow youth perform Sunday

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Kiwanis Club’s 31st annual Kiwanis Stars of Tomorrow show is set for 3 p.m. Sunday.

Jefferson County youth will perform songs, drama, instrumental music and dances at Port Townsend High School, 1500 Van Ness St.

Tickets at the door will be $7 for those 12 and older; $5 for children ages 5-11; and free to children younger than 5.

Performances will be split into three age categories of presentation for kindergarten through sixth grades; Junior Division for seventh through ninth grades; and Senior Division for 10th through 12th grades.

Junior and senior division performers are competing for scholarship money.

Concessions will be available for purchase, with funds benefiting the Chimacum Band Boosters.

Proceeds from the event are designated to participant scholarships and the club’s youth services projects.
