Stars of tomorrow auditions set

PORT TOWNSEND — The Kiwanis Club of Port Townsend has set a date for auditions for its 2023 Stars of Tomorrow show.

The annual talent show, which features local youths performing music, drama and dance, is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Port Townsend High School, 1500 Van Ness St.

The auditions will be held from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Blue Heron School, 3939 San Juan Ave.

Applications and program guidelines are posted at www.ptkiwanis.org; completed applications should be brought to the auditions.

There are three divisions in this year’s show: a non-competitive presentation division for Kindergarten to sixth-grade; junior division for seventh- though ninth-grades; and the senior division for 10th- through 12-grades.

The junior and senior divisions will compete for scholarships to enhance their study and special awards from sponsors.

Students may perform together but they will all compete in the highest division in their act.
