Soroptimist Gala Gift Show presented Saturday

SEQUIM — Soroptimist International of Sequim is hosting what members call a “festive and elegant shopping experience” at its sixth annual Gala Gift Show on Saturday.

The show will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sequim unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula at 400 W. Fir St.

The show features more than 50 vendors offering clothing, home décor, jewelry and accessories, culinary and other food products, health and beauty items, pet products, children’s books, artwork and photography, and See’s candies.

Come early

Attendees are encouraged to come early, as many vendor products and home-baked items sell out quickly, organizers said.

Admission is free.

The Gala Gift Show is one of the Soroptimist International of Sequim’s primary fundraisers.

Proceeds are used to fund educational grants and to support local organizations and activities committed to “improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.”

For more information and a list of the 2017 vendors, send an email to Gala GiftShow@gmail.com or visit the Soroptimist International of Sequim website at sisequim.org/fundraising /gala-gift-show/.
