PORT TOWNSEND — Floral works in Inner Gardens and an exhibit of the artist of the month begin Thursday at the Northwind Arts Center.

The center is at 701 Water St. In the Inner Gardens exhibit of mixed-media painting and glass sculptures, three Northwest artists explore the inspiration of the floral form.

A reception for the artists is planned at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, during the Port Townsend Gallery Walk. On Sunday, May 6, will be an art talk at 1 p.m. The show will close at 5:30 p.m. May 27.

Artwork by the featured artist of the month, Carla O’Connor, will be on exhibit from Thursday through May 27 as part of the Artist Showcase. Exhibit hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Mondays.
