Second Saturday Art Walk features local artists

PORT ANGELES — Studio Bob and Harbor Art Gallery will host an opening receptions during the Second Saturday Art Walk.

Lots of Fish by John Hemmen will be featured at Studio Bob, 118 ½ E. Front St.

The reception will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. The exhibit also will be open from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday

The reception will include music by Tin Sandwich, joined by Tom Matz and special guests.

“I paint fish with these symbols in mind but more so because they are beautiful in their own essence,” Hemmen said. “How they flow and move in the water is magical. They are one with the water.

The exhibit is open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through April 6.

Harbor Arts

The Harbor Art Gallery in Port Angeles will spotlight the photography of Becky Stinnett, the gallery’s featured artist for February, and that of Carol Marshall who will be featured in April, throughout the month of March.

Harbor Art Gallery, at 114 N. Laurel St., is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Visitors can meet many of the artists at the gallery during the Second Saturday Art Walk.

Harbor Art Gallery also showcases work by local artists Bob Stokes, Cindy Elstrom, Robert Amaral, Garret DeLaBarre, Terri Enck, Katie Graham, Carolyn Guske, Tammy Hall, Susan Kantowitz, Nancy McFaul, Gail McLain, Miranda Petruska, Steve Portner, Randy and Sallie Radock, Jodi Riverstone, Nathan Shields, Lance and Haley Snider, Eileen Webb, Kevin Willson and Andrèa Woods.
