Second Annual ‘O’Tannenbaum Auction coming up

SEQUIM — Tickets are on sale now for Olympic Theatre Arts’ second annual O’Tannenbaum Auction fundraiser Nov. 17-19.

Proceeds from all events will benefit OTA, Sequim’s community theater, now celebrating its 37th consecutive season.

The first event will be a free open house open to the public at the theater at 414 N. Sequim Ave., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17.

Amid holiday music, visitors can sample cookies and hot apple cider while viewing decorated trees and wreaths. They can enter a raffle to win one of the decorated trees and can participate in the People’s Choice Vote for Best Tree.

The next night — Friday, Nov. 18 — a buffet and silent auction are planned from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The evening at the theater costs $20 per person.

A buffet supper and a no-host bar will be offered among the decorated trees and wreaths. A silent auction is planned. Attendees can participate in the People’s Choice Vote for Best Tree and enter a raffle to win a tree.

A catered dinner and live auction are planned on the final night of the fundraiser, Saturday, Nov. 19.

The cost for the dinner from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the theater is $75 per person.

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a group of OTA holiday carolers and served complimentary champagne. They can browse the decorated trees that will be auctioned before eating a dinner catered by The Cedars at Dungeness.

After the meal, guests will move back to the theater’s main stage, where the live auction will be held for the trees, wreaths and many treasures.

For more information about the O’Tannenbaum Auction or to purchase tickets to any of the events, visit the OTA website at www.olympictheatrearts.org or contact the OTA business office at 360-683-7326 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
