Salish Sea Early Music Festival to host season finale

PORT TOWNSEND — The Salish Sea Early Music Festival will conclude its season with “Bach and Scarlatti” at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The concert will be at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1020 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.

Admission is by a suggested donation of $20 to $30 per person. Youths 18 and younger will be admitted free.

The concert will feature Spanish harpsichordist Irene Roldàn and baroque flutist Jeffrey Cohan, the festival’s artistic director.

The program will include four solo harpsichord sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti, three sonatas for harpsichord and flute by Johann Sebastian Bach and a new transcription of Scarlatti’s sonatas for flute and harpsichord.
