Salish Sea Early Music Festival performance Sunday

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Salish Sea Early Music Festival will present “European Tour: 1690-1790” at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Baroque music concert will be at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1020 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.

Admission is by a suggested donation of $20 to $30 per person.

The concert will feature Kyiv, Ukraine-based harpsichordist Olena Zhukova and the festival’s artistic director, Jeffrey Cohan, playing the baroque flute.

The program will feature music for harpsichord and flute from the baroque and classical periods by composers from France, Italy, Scotland, Germany and Ukraine.

Future performances will include “The Musique de la Chambre of Louis XIV” May 4; “Concerti from the Court of Frederick the Great” May 25; “Beethoven’s Flute, Viola and Guitar” June 8; and “Johann Sebastian Bach” July 13.
