SEQUIM — Reservations are being accepted for a scholarship fundraiser set by the North Olympic Women on the Water, a part of the North Olympic Sail and Power Squadron, for Feb. 11.
Friday is the deadline for reservations to the dinner, dance and auction planned from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the John Wayne Marina Community Room, 2577 W. Sequim Bay Road. Participants must pay in advance.
Proceeds from the silent auction will go to scholarships for area women who intend to study marine science.
Dinner will be catered by the Café at Shipley’s, followed by dancing to the music of the ’50s through the ’80s presented by DJs Rick and Chris Bond. This is a BYOB affair.
The cost is $45 per couple or $22.50 for a single.
