Port Townsend Arts Guild to host Crafts by the Dock

PORT TOWNSEND — The 48th annual Crafts by the Dock Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The fair will be in downtown Port Townsend on Madison Street at Water Street and the City Civic Plaza.

It will be one block from the Wooden Boat Festival at the Northwest Maritime Center.

The fair will feature new artists as well as old favorites, organizers said.

Some of the juried arts and crafts made by exhibiting artists include handmade furniture, gold and silver jewelry set with semi-precious stones, metal sculptural work by Gunter Reimnitz, handwoven rugs, paintings, fish print rubbings, tile murals of fish, nuno felted clothing, painted silk scarves, Jim Stewart’s Damascus steel knives for kitchen and hunting, pottery, turned bowls, wood carvings and jewelry from glass, wood, enamels, clay and copper and more.

Local musicians will perform.

The Port Townsend Arts Guild is a self-supporting nonprofit arts organization offering college scholarships to local students majoring in the arts.
