Port Angeles Second Weekend offers late hours for exhibits

PORT ANGELES — “Marilyn, Monsters and More” will be featured during the Second Weekend Art Walk at Studio Bob.

The installation at Studio Bob, 118½ E. Front St., offers multi-media and interactive projects by artists Christopher Allen, Bonnie Clark, Larry White and others.

The artists are showcasing icons of classic Hollywood from different perspectives.

The show will open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, accompanied by live music by Sarah Shea and Chez Jazz. It will continue from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

It is free and open to the public, with friendly dogs welcome.

Harbor Art Gallery also will be open late on Saturday.

The gallery at 114 North Laurel St., in downtown Port Angeles, will be open during Port Angeles Second Saturday Art Walk until 7 p.m., Saturday.

Visitors can chat with artists who are part of the cooperative, including featured artist Roger Mosley.

A resident of Joyce, Mosley developed his passion for nature photography while working for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

“I’m inspired to capture those scenes and moments that collectively give this landscape its beauty,” he said.

The gallery showcases work by other local artists Bob Stokes and Cindy Elstrom, Carolyn Guske, Robert Amaral, Garret Delabarre, Terri Ench, Tammy Hall, Susan Kantowitz, Ruth Kaspin, Nancy McFaul, Gail McLain, Eric Neurath, Miranda Petruska, Randy and Sallie Radock, Jodi Riverstone, Nathan Shields, Jennifer and Davis Stevenson, Lance and Haley Snider, Eileen Webb and Kevin Willson.

Harbor Art Gallery has extended its usual hours during the summer. It is now open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

One of A Kind Art Gallery will offer Open Studio, as it does every Second Saturday of the month.

The gallery on the bottom level of the Port Angeles Wharf, 115 E. Railroad Ave., offers space for visitors to work on their own creative projects from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
