Pink Floyd retrospective featured this weekend

PORT TOWNSEND — Pigs on the Wing will present “A Pink Floyd Retrospective” at 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The shows will be at the American Legion’s Marvin G. Shields Memorial Post 26, 209 Monroe St. in Port Townsend.

Tickets are $30 per person at www.eventbrite.com or $35 at the door. Two-night passes are available for $50.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Attendees must be 21 or older.

The Pink Floyd tribute band is composed of Eric Welder, bass and vocals; Dave Lindenbaum, guitar and vocals; Matt Jones, keyboards and vocals; Jason Baker, guitar and vocals; Bryan Fairfield, drums; Holly Brooks, vocals; and Matt Sulikowski, saxophone.

The Portland, Ore.-based band will perform a selection of classic-era Pink Floyd songs organized into two sets.

Concertgoers can expect to hear the band focus on its favorite sections of the classic Pink Floyd albums, including hits, deep cuts and experimental improvisation.
