Peninsula Fiber Artists install walk-by exhibit

PORT TOWNSEND — Peninsula Fiber Artists have installed a walk-by exhibit called “Steampunk in Fiber” in Uptown Port Townsend.

Participating artists include Merrie Jo Schneider of Port Angeles, and Leslie Dickinson, Angie Dideum, Caryl Fallert-Gentry, Pat Herkal, Mary Morrison, Debra E. Olson, Janice Speck, Ellen Thomas from Port Townsend.

The group will open an exhibit, “Salish Seasons,” on Aug. 1 at the Mead Werks at Wilderbee Farm, 223 Cook Ave. Ext., Port Townsend, and “Fiber on the Strait” on Aug. 18 in the Laura Cooksey Gallery at Field Arts & Event Hall, 201 W. Front St., Port Angeles.
