PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College Campus Safety will host a health and safety fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
College students and the public are invited to the free fair at the college’s Pirate Union Building, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
The event aims to make students and community members aware of personal health and safety issues, as well as the community resources available to address them, according to a news release.
During the event, college nursing students will present health information and offer blood pressure screenings.
Agencies that will be represented at the fair relate to programs offered at the college including, nursing, medical assisting, criminal justice, homeland security-emergency management and the college’s Emergency Medical Technician course.
Participating agencies include the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, Port Angeles Police Department, Community Emergency Response Team, Clallam Mosaic, Clallam County Search & Rescue, Port Angeles Fire Department and Volunteers in Medicine in the Olympics.
