Activities abound on the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.
• Clallam County Fair continues through Sunday with a two-day rodeo, a demolition derby, a logging show, a carnival, animal exhibits and a variety of food and entertainment.
Gates will open at the fair at 8:30 a.m., with buildings opening at 9 a.m. daily on the fairgrounds at 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles. The gates will close at 9 p.m. today and Saturday and at 7 p.m. Sunday. The carnival opens at noon and closes at 10 p.m. today and Saturday and at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Today will be the Western Games demonstration from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Draft Horse Show at 2 p.m. and first day of the rodeo at 6 p.m. The rodeo will continue from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; the logging show will be at 11 a.m. Saturday.
At 4 p.m. Sunday will be the Demolition Derby; tickets are sold near the BMX track on the west end of the fairgrounds, starting at 9 a.m. Sunday.
• The Soundcheck Music and Arts Festival continues through Sunday with music, dances, poetry readings, the 50th Birthday Party of Fort Worden and the Uptown Street Fair scheduled.

• The Uptown Street Fair, an annual celebration of neighborhood and local artistry, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, will blend live entertainment, the Port Townsend Arts and Crafts Fair, the Port Townsend Farmers Market, food vendors, free art activities, a beer garden and the Unbelievable Colorful Yet Brief Uptown Street Fair Parade.
The festival celebrating summer and the eclectic spirit of Uptown will be from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The fair is on Lawrence and Tyler streets uptown and the farmers market is on Polk Street.
• Dirty Cello will perform at 7:30 tonight at the Field Hall at 201 W. Front St., Port Angeles.
General admission is $35, students can enjoy the show for $15, and youth ages 17 and younger can attend for $10. Tickets are on sale at www.jffa.org.
Hailing from San Francisco, Dirty Cello brings a blend of blues, rock and Americana, led by cross-over cellist Rebecca Roudman, whose playing earned multiple standing ovations at the 2023 Juan de Fuca Festival.
• The Salish Sea International Butoh Festival’s final performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Butoh Performance Gala will feature performances by all three guest artists — Japanese artist Kota Yamazaki from Niigata, Japan; Latin American Butoh pioneer Eugenia Vargas from Mexico City; and Anastazia Louise Aranaga from the San Francisco Bay Area — at Eaglemount Wine & Cider, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road. Admission is $20 for general admission and $15 for students.
• Olympic Cellars Winery Summer Concerts will host Good Day Sunshine from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Olympic Cellars Winery, 255410 U.S. Highway 101, Port Angeles.
Tickets are $20 per person.
The show is part of the Olympic Cellars Winery Summer Concerts; a portion of the proceeds will benefit Soroptimist International of Port Angeles — Noon Club.
• Saltfire Theatre presents The Taming of the Shrew at Fort Worden on the Madrona Lawn at 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

• Pigs on the Wing: A Tribute to Pink Floyd will perform tonight and Saturday at the American Legion Hall at 209 Monroe St. in Port Townsend, with doors opening at 8 p.m. for an 8:30 p.m. show.
Tonight’s performance will be “Pigs on the Wing: A Pink Floyd Retrospective” while Saturday’s show will be “Pigs on the Wing: The Dark Side of the Moon 50th Anniversary.”
• Concerts in the Woods will present Jeremiah Johnson in an outdoor show at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center, 923 Hazel Point Road Coyle.
• Mia Torres will perform from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock. No cover charge.
• Locos Only will perform from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at the Port Townsend Brewing Co., 330 10th St., Port Townsend. No cover charge.
• Jack Dwyer will perform from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Spirits Bar and Grill in the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock.
• Fortress of the Bear will perform from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Port Townsend Brewing Co., 330 10th St., Port Townsend. No cover charge.
• “Campfire Stories Volume II: Tales from America’s National Parks and Trails” will be presented by Dave and Ilyssa Kyuat at 7 p.m. tonight.
The co-editors of the new anthology will speak at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St. Port Angeles.
• Port Townsend Urban Sketchers will sketch the Jefferson County Courthouse at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The sketchers will meet in front of the courthouse’s arched entryway, 1820 Jefferson St., and reconvene at the entryway at noon to share their work and take a photo. Participation is free.

• “Classic Hits & Classic Cars” will be presented by Sherwood Assisted Living, 550 W. Hendrickson Road, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The Sequim Valley Car Club will show off classic cars while Black Diamond Junction performs live music.
The show also features free root beer floats and a $5 barbecue lunch.
• Bag of Books sale will have its final day Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lobby at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
Bags will be provided, and customers will be able to purchase as many books as they can fit into the bag for $5.
• “Fall and Winter Berry Care” will be presented by Jeanette Steyr-Green at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
The lecture, part of the Clallam County Master Gardeners’ Digging Deeper series, is at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Road.
• Strait Turners will see Rick Urban of north Georgia demonstrate a three-corner bowl at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road.
• Olympic UFO will consider “The Evidence and Implications of a Non-Human Intelligence on Earth” at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Unity Center of Port Townsend, 3198 San Juan Ave.
• The Wounded Warrior Pig Roast is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Smokers-N- Strokers, 3914 S. Old Time Place, Port Angeles.
The benefit features free food, live music, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
The motorcycle repair shop also will conduct a Memorial Run for Pops and Wizard at noon. Registration opens at 10 a.m. at the Front Street Alibi, 1605 E. Front St.
