SEQUIM — Tickets are now available for Olympic Theatre Arts’ fourth annual staged reading of William Shakespeare’s comedy, “Twelfth Night (Or What You Will).”
The performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, with 3 p.m. matinees Saturday, Jan. 7 and Sunday, Jan. 8 at the theater at 414 N. Sequim Ave., where the Gathering Hall will be transformed into an Elizabethan House of Revelry.
Patrons are encouraged to come in costume and be prepared to enjoy the performance played out around them.
Light refreshments and seasonal drinks will be available during the show.
Tickets are available online at www.olympic theatrearts.org or at the theater box office, which is open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets will also be sold at the door one hour prior to show time if available. Seating is limited.
The classic Shakespearean comedy focuses on mistaken identities, crossed lovers and farcical pranks played out by an elaborately costumed cast and accompanying minstrels.
Rich Hendricksen, who directed the performance last year, has returned again, as well as some of the cast members.
“This production just keeps getting more festive and elaborate,” Hendricksen said.
“This year we have added new props and set dressings and will have live instrumentalists filling the hall with period melodies before, during and after the show.”
