Prose and poetry submissions are being accepted now for “In the Words of Olympic Peninsula Authors, Volume 3.”
Submissions to Olympic Peninsula Authors (OPA) will be accepted through June 1.
This series of trade-size paperbacks is produced in print and Kindle format by OPA founders Heidi Hansen and Linda B. Myers.
The new volume will be available in the fall both online and at local retailers and festival events.
The book is an anthology of poetry and prose by writers who are from — or write about — the Olympic Peninsula.
If your submission is selected, you will have multiple pages in the book, be featured at a launch party and have the opportunity to read your submission to an audience. You also will have a traditionally-published credit.
Prose should be no more than 5,000 words. Submissions can be short stories, essays, memoirs or articles.
Poetry may be a selection of several short or multi-page poems.
If a submission is accepted, a production fee of $40 will be charged (which includes one free book with the retail value of $20). There is no fee to submit.
For submission details or other questions, email olympicpeninsulaauthors@gmail.com.
