Olympic Peninsula Art Association seeks donations for fundraiser

SEQUIM — Olympic Peninsula Art Association is seeking artists to donate artwork to the group’s fundraising exhibit planned in November.

The show will be Nov. 2-4 at the Sequim Civic Center Chambers, 152 W. Cedar St, Sequim.

The deadline for donations is Oct. 25. There is no fee to enter.

Each donated piece must be 5-inches-by-7-inches, signed only on the back, and will be exhibited anonymously. Anyone can enter.

Entries for sale

All entries will be for sale to the public for $20 each.

Artwork will be on display from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 2 but will not go on sale until 5 p.m.

The show will be open for sales from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 2, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 3 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 4.

Artist names will be revealed to buyers on purchase.

The money raised will support scholarships, arts programs open to the community and fund other projects Olympic Peninsula Art Association (OPAA) supports.

Donations can be brought to the group’s general members meeting between 9:30 a.m. and noon Sept. 27 or Oct. 25 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church parish hall at 525 N. Fifth Ave., in Sequim or mailed to OPAA 5×7 Show, P.O. Box 3722, Sequim, WA 98382.

OPAA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting visual arts in the community.
