Music, cars and a book signing highlight weekend events on the North Olympic Peninsula.
• Olympic Music Festival will continue its 41st summer season at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Wheeler Theater at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way, Port Townsend.

The season includes 10 classical music performances ending Sept. 8.
The Chamber Music Masters, consisting of violinists Alexi Kenney and Scott St. John; violist Jonathan Vinocour; cellist Efe Baltacıgil; and pianists Julio Elizalde and Robert McDonald, will perform The Final Romantics on Saturday and From the Wars on Sunday.
Saturday’s program will include Brahms’ Six Piano Pieces, Op. 118; Strauss’ Violin Sonata in E-flat major, Op. 18; and Dvorak’s Piano Quartet No. 2 in E-flat major, Op. 87.
Sunday’s program will include Rebecca Clarke’s Dumka for Violin, Viola, and Piano (1940); Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata in D minor, op. 40; and Elgar’s Piano Quintet in A minor, Op. 84.
• The Nathan Talbot Trio will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the studio at Rainshadow Recording, Building 315 on Fort Worden, 315 Artillery Hill Drive, Port Townsend.

Singer-songwriter Timothy Hull will open for the trio.
• The Richard Russell Group will present “One World Music” at 4 p.m. Sunday at Unity Center of Port Townsend, 3918 San Juan Ave., Port Townsend

The Seattle-based ensemble, composed of Richard Russell, Nancy Rumbel, Peter Lawson and Anil Prasad, will be joined by Port Townsend-based Celtic harpist David Michael.
The ensemble formed in 2018 to explore what they call One World Music, a fusion of Eastern and Western music played on acoustic instruments.
• Black Diamond Junction will perform a free Labor Day concert at 1 p.m. Monday at John Wayne’s Waterfront Resort, 2634 W. Sequim Bay Road, Sequim.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating at the outdoor concert.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
• Carla Main and Friends will perform from 4:30 to 6:30 tonight at Vintage, 725 Water St., Port Townsend. No cover charge.
• Mia Torres will perform on the piano from 5 to 7 tonight at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock. No cover charge.
• Bill Volmut will perform from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday in Spirits Bar and Grill at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock. No cover charge.
• Diana Talley will sell and sign copies of her new memoir, “The Center of Buoyancy: The Life of Shipwright Sailor Guurl” from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at The Nest, 1191 Lawrence St., Port Townsend.
Talley learned about wooden boat building in the San Francisco Bay area before moving to Port Townsend and opening Taku Marine, which she ran for 26 years with her husband, Rick Perykowski.
Talley also will be at the Women of the Working Waterfront tent next to the Sail Loft during all three days of the Wooden Boat Festival, Sept. 6-8.
• The Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles will host its third Car Show and Chili Cook-off at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles.
Admission is $3 per person, family admission is $10 for two adults and up to four children; children younger than 5 admitted free.
The show will feature cars, trucks, motorcycles and rat rods.
Participant entry opens at 7:30 a.m. Judging begins at 10 a.m. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m. Registration is $25 per vehicle.
There also will be vendors, food trucks and raffles.
• The Port Townsend Urban Sketchers will meet inside the entrance to Chetzemoka Park, 1000 Jackson St., at 10 a.m. Saturday.
After sketching, the group will reconvene at the park entrance at noon to share their work and take a photo.
The event is open to all skill levels.
