Olympic Music Festival announces summer season

PORT TOWNSEND — Tickets are on sale now for the 40th summer season of the Olympic Music Festival.

In-person performances will be at Fort Worden’s Wheeler Theater, 200 Battery Way, at 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays on Aug. 12-20 and Sept. 2-10, with the season finale Sept. 9-10. Doors open at 1:15 p.m.

Advance tickets are $40 — $45 the day of at the box office — except for the season finale, which costs $60 per seat. Youth/student tickets are $15. Children 7-12 are free when accompanied by an adult. Group rates are available. Purchase tickets at www.olympicmusic festival.org.

• Aug. 13 — Fireworks in Paris.

Chamber Music Fellowship; Week 2

• Aug. 19 — Romantic Masters.

• Aug. 20 — Visionary Women.

Chamber Music Masters

• Sept. 2 — Echoes of Beethoven.

• Sept. 3 — Ravishing Rhapsodies

Season Finale

• Sept. 9-10 — Ray Chen and Julio Elizalde in Recital.

The Olympic Music Festival follows recommendations by the Jefferson County Health Department, which strongly urges guests to consider wearing masks in indoor settings when sick, around others who are sick, when in a crowded and not well-ventilated indoor area or while caring for people who are vulnerable to severe illness, such as those 65 and older or who are immunocompromised.

KF94/KF95/N95 masks are available upon request at all performances.
