PORT ANGELES — Mark Elbroch will present “Olympic Cougar Project” during the Studium Generale lecture series at 12:35 p.m. Thursday in the Little Theater at Peninsula College’s Port Angeles Campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

Elbroch will discuss his research and data-driven insights which may improve human-wildlife ecosystems for generations to come.
The Studium Generale series features experts, community partners and cultural celebrations throughout the fall quarter, including:
• A discussion with native artist Molly Troxler on Nov. 6.
• A roundtable discussion “Honoring Veterans” on Nov. 13.
• Alice Derry presenting “Native Plants of the Peninsula” on Nov. 20.
• The student-led discussion “What We Have Learned this Quarter” will finish the series on Dec. 4.
Studium also will host a special presentation of “My Heart is Good” with Port Gamble S’Klallam elder and former tribal chair Ron Charles and anthropologist Josh Wisniewski on Nov. 12.
