Northwind Art invites artists to its Showcase program

PORT TOWNSEND — The call for art has opened for Showcase 2025, the exhibition for local and regional artists at the downtown anchor Jeanette Best Gallery in Port Townsend.

The deadline to enter is Oct. 1. Information can be found at https://northwind art.org. A red banner at the top of the page has the direct link to the application portal.

Northwind Art, the nonprofit organization operating Jeanette Best Gallery, at 701 Water St. in Port Townsend, invites artists from Jefferson, Clallam, Kitsap, Mason and Island counties to enter Showcase 2025.

The Showcase Artists program provides a spacious venue for painters, ceramicists, photographers, printmakers, sculptors, mosaicists, fiber artists and makers working in mixed media.

The current exhibition, Showcase 2024, features artists from Port Townsend, Sequim, Port Ludlow, Chimacum and Port Angeles, with work ranging from stone mosaics to plein air paintings.

Showcase 2025 applicants must submit 10 images of current works for consideration. The artists will be chosen by a panel of Northwind Art curators who judge the quality, professionalism and sales potential of the work. The works submitted for review should be available and for sale.

For more information about entering Showcase 2025, contact Exhibits Coordinator Jaiden Dokken at exhibits@northwindart.org. For more details about Northwind Art shows and classes at Northwind Art School, visit NorthwindArt.org.
