NOLS book discussion groups planned

Paperback copies available for curbside pickup

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will continue online book discussion groups throughout October.

Participants must register at nols.org to receive the link to the free Zoom meetings.

• The Second Saturday Book Discussion Group will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, to discuss “Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow” By Yuval Noah Harari.

Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Sequim Library.

The group will discuss “Tangerine” By Christine Mangan in November.

• The Second Tuesday Book Discussion Group will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13 to discuss “America: The Farewell Tour” by Chris Hedges.

Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Port Angeles Library.

In November the group will discuss “Convenience Store Woman” by Sayaka Murata.

• The Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group is set to meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, to talk about “The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek” by Kim Michele Richardson.

Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Sequim Library.

The group plans to discuss “My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She’s Sorry” by Fredrik Backman in November.

• The Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, to discuss Circling the Sun” by Paula McLain.

Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Port Angeles Library.

Their November selection is “Harry’s Trees” by Joe Cohen.
