Musics, desserts offered this weekend

Music, dancing and desserts are on tap this weekend on the North Olympic Peninsula.

• Salsa Night – Latin Dance Party is planned at 7:30 tonight at Studio Bob, 118½ E. Front St., in Port Angeles, for ages 18 and older.

It will begin with 30 minutes of crash-course intro to Latin dance before the music starts. It is not necessary to have a partner.

Tickets are $10 (cash, Venmo, Paypal, or apple cash accepted) at the door of the studio.

“While it is technically called ‘Salsa Night,’ we enthusiastically welcome any and all forms of self-expression, while the playlist and/or music guest of the night adds a bit of Latin flare to whatever you want to try on the dance floor,” organizers said.

• Olympic Cellars Summer Concert Series will host Fat Chance in a benefit for Serenity House on Saturday.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; music begins at 7 p.m. at 255410 E. Highway 101, Port Angeles.
