Moonfest set for Friday, Saturday

QULCENE — Jim Munn of Munn Bros Hood Canal Properties and Sheryl Wolover of Yoga Legends will host Moonfest at their Lake Leland Amphitheater near Quilcene on Friday and Saturday.

The gathering will be open from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. each day. Gates close to entry at 9 p.m. each day. All attendees must be 21 and older.

Advance tickets are $40 for Friday only, $100 for Saturday only or $125 for the entire weekend. Door ticket prices will increase by $10 on the day of the event.

“Moonfest isn’t just another festival; it’s a vision, a vision to share a secluded, forested, lakefront haven where folks can come together, relish the great outdoors, groove to timeless classics, and appreciate vintage automobiles from a golden era,” organizers said.

Lake Leland Amphitheater is a 50-acre setting overlooking Lake Leland. It has a 28-foot by 30-foot stage with a 16-foot by 32-foot lounge.

Tent and RV camping is available, with lots of day parking for 1,000 people.

This year’s Friday lineup focuses more on Rockin’ Blues, and Saturday’s lineup is Rock N Roll.
