Medal design contest for Kids North Olympic Discovery Marathon set

Children 12 and younger are invited to submit a design for the 2018 North Olympic Discovery Marathon’s Kids Medal Design Contest.

Entry forms must be mailed or delivered by this coming Monday.

The winning design will be made into the 2018 Kids Marathon Medal that will be distributed to 500 kids on the Kids’ Marathon Race Day on June 2.

The winning entrant will receive a free entry for the event and a gift basket with a special certificate, water bottle and other prizes. Prizes will be awarded for second through fifth place.

Entries are available on the North Olympic Discovery Marathon’s Facebook page at tinyurl.com/PDN-KidsDesign.

Judges are looking for designs that highlight one or more of the following elements: running, fitness, kids and what you might see along the Olympic Discovery Trail.

Entry form can be mailed to NODM, PO Box 431, Port Angeles, WA 98362 or dropped off in Port Angeles at Angeles Electric, 524 E. First St., or in Sequim at Dungeness Kids, 163 W. Washington St.
