Ludlow Village Players to stage ‘Murdered to Death’

PORT LUDLOW — The Ludlow Village Players will stage a production of “Murdered to Death” with performances at 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and matinee performances at 2 p.m. Sundays through Sept. 22.

The comedy whodunit will be on stage at the Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Place.

Tickets are $19 per person at www.brownpapertickets.com/profile/140294.

The play, written by Peter Gordon, is set in a 1930s country manor where a cast of eccentric characters try to solve the murder of the manor’s owner.

The plot thickens with the arrival Inspector Pratt, who stumbles through the investigation with a level of incompetence that only adds to the fun.

Kate Marshall will direct a cast that includes Karen Ni as Mildred, Pascale Sanok as Dorothy, Jim Gormly as Bunting, Joe Walsh as Colonel Charles Craddock, Carol Reichstetter as Margaret Craddock, Kelly McNees as Elizabeth Hartley-Trumpington, Christie Lang as Pierre Marceau, Starley Flynn as Joan Maple, Erin Hersch as Constable Tomkins and Jeff Groves as Inspector Pratt.
