‘Little Mermaid Jr.’ opens this weekend at Sequim High auditorium

SEQUIM — Ghostlight Productions will present “The Little Mermaid Jr.” with shows at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and matinees at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday as well as performances on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.

The Disney musical will be performed in the auditorium at Sequim High School, 601 N. Sequim Ave.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available online at www.ghostlightwa.org or at the door.

The production is adapted from the Broadway production, which was adapted from the 1989 animated film that, in turn, was based on a story by Hans Christian Andersen.

The cast features Lili Mitchell of Sequim as Ariel; Leif Moody of Sequim as King Triton; Ava Fuller of Sequim as Ursula the sea witch; and Luke Ruddell of Port Angeles as Prince Eric.

Also performing are Peyton Kimble, Daniel Pereira, Sydney Blackburn, Cecelia Pereira, Grace Pereira, Elliot Warren, Molly Beeman, Sean McDaniel, Thomas Jones, Jordan Crawford, Juliana Getzen, Brooklyn McKnight, Lily Mosely, Ashe Thomason and Saffron Tschida.

The cast is supported by a full ensemble, including Valen Atwater, Teagan Ball, Chloe Bruning, Jacob Burkhardt, Caleb Crawford, Erin DeMarco, Evelyn Fennel, Evelyn Fernie, Alex Gerkin, Tomas Gonzalez, Isabella Honeycutt, Maisy Kay-Sanders, Juliana Kay-Sanders, Charlie Kelly, Oliver Kelly, Liliya Miller, Amalia Miller, Christina Possinger, Belle Robinson, Zeta Smith, River Sutherland, Bryson Welch and Everly Zimmel.
