Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles to sell raffle tickets in annual fundraiser

PORT ANGELES — The Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles will begin to sell raffle tickets for three prizes soon.

Tickets of $10 for the annual raffle fundraiser will be available for purchase from Feb. 21 through May 6 from members of the Kiwanis Club of Port Angeles; at Wenner-Davis & Associates, 102 E. First St.; and at the club’s Thursday meetings at noon at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 S. DelGuzzi Drive.

A drawing will take place at the club’s Spring Dinner & Auction.

Raffle prizes are a two-night stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, a FitBit Blaze fitness watch and one cord of wood, split and delivered.

“In prior years, we’ve usually raffled one item or two exact items. This year, we wanted prizes that would have an appeal to just about everyone,” said Darcey Beck, Kiwanis member.

The first drawn ticket will offer one prize of the ticket holder’s choice.

The second-drawn ticket holder will choose one prize of the remaining items.

The third-drawn ticket holder will receive the remaining prize.

It is not necessary to be present to win.

The fundraiser is one of the club’s primary fundraising campaigns. Proceeds from the sales help support youths in the Port Angeles community.

For more information, see the club’s Facebook page.
