Topping off this weekend’s activities on the North Olympic Peninsula is the Great Port Townsend Bay Kinetic Skulpture Race on Saturday and Sunday.
This year’s kinetic race and parade theme is “Rising from the Ashes.” The two-day race has a parade and water portion on Saturday and a street, sand and mud “kourse” on Sunday.

At 8 p.m. Saturday will be the Rosehips Kween Koronation Ball, an over-21 event at the American Legion Hall. Admission will be $10 each at the door only.
Costumed racers and others will dance to the music of Copastetic, a funk band from Seattle.
Kween Kontestants will vie for the krown at about 9:30 p.m. and the koronation will be at about 10 p.m.

• 17th annual North Olympic Fiber Arts Festival — “Interlaced Lore — Adventure, Fellowship, & Perseverance” exhibit will be featured at Sequim Museum & Arts, 544 N. Sequim Ave., from Saturday to Nov. 26.
Free exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
The artists will be on hand to meet the public at an opening reception between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday at the museum.

• Peninsula College Fall Spectacular — The Port Angeles campus at 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd. will be filled with music, activities for children, hands-on classroom activities for adults, food and art from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday during the Peninsula College Fall Spectacular.
The event is free except for food and beverage purchases.
Activities include a zipline, an improv workshop, a welding demonstration, a ride in a hot air balloon, music, face painting, a bounce house, a 32-foot-high climbing wall, Lower Elwha song and drum group, short presentations from Peninsula College instructors, a beading workshop led by Karen Sixkiller, a film and digital storytelling class and a tour of the medical assistant and nursing program lab.

• Family Pops — Conductor Jonathan Pasternack and the Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra will present Family Pops at 7 p.m. today and 1 p.m. Saturday at the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, 304 E. Park Ave.

As with all of the symphony’s concerts this season, admission is free for youngsters 18 and younger who come with a ticketed adult.
• Olympic Peaks Burlesque Show — The show will begin at 8 p.m. after doors open at 7 p.m. at Studio Bob at 118½ E. Front St. in Port Angeles.
Tickets are $25 if purchased online at https://olympic-peaks-burlesque.ticketleap.com/halloween 2022/ or $30 at the door.
The show is for those 18 and over and bar patrons must be 21 and over.
Rebecca Mmm Davis will be the emcee. Performances will be by Iva Handfull, Seraphina Fiero, The Shanghai Pearl and Trojan Original.

• Bring Your Own Fiber Art Exhibit — A pop-up show of the Bring Your Own Fiber Art exhibit will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Studio Bob, 118½ E. Front St., in Port Angeles.
Free and for all ages, the show features quilters, felters, knitters, crochetters, and other talents in a variety of ways.
It is sponsored by Cable Fiber Arts.
• Autumn Art Show — The Habitat for Humanity East Jefferson County Store, 2001 W. Sims Way, Port Townsend, will host the Autumn Art Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The show will feature a selection of paintings, lithographs, posters, photographs, wall hangings and other works of art from its collection of more than 500 pieces.
The show’s theme is autumn in the mountains, autumn by the sea, and other works inspired by the colors of fall.
Parking is behind the store.
Sales help support affordable housing in East Jefferson County. The public is invited and welcome to attend.
• Jefferson Museum of Art & History — Two exhibits — Juxtapositions and Exquisite Jewels — opened Thursday at the Jefferson Museum of Art & History, 540 Water St., Port Townsend.
The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, with extended hours the first Saturday of the month for the Port Townsend Art Walk. This Saturday, Kristin Myers will perform music from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. during the art walk.
• Harvest of Hope — Olympic Medical Center Foundation, in conjunction with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Care Alliance and Sound Community Bank, will host the annual Harvest of Hope Wine & Dinner Gala — both virtually and in person — at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The 20th annual gala at the Guy Cole Event Center, 144 N. Blake Ave., will raise funds for cancer patients being treated at Olympic Medical Cancer Center in Sequim.
Tickets are $135 per person.
Raffle tickets and live and silent auctions are planned.

• Contemporary Jazz Workshop — Mary Lou Sanelli will teach a Contemporary Jazz Workshop from noon to 1:15 p.m. Saturday at Port Townsend Ballet, 898 E. Park Ave., Suite 1 in Port Townsend.
After the workshop, Sanelli will sign copies of her two new dance titles at Vintage Tasting Room on Water Street downtown from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
One is a children’s book about finding something in life that makes us want to try harder and the other is an adult novel.
