Music performances, a kids’ fishing derby and a craft fair and flea market highlight events this weekend on the North Olympic Peninsula.
• Fat Ferdie and the Stolen Sweets will perform at 7 tonight at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim.
Tickets are $20 per person at www.olympictheatrearts.org or by calling the box office from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The band features vocals by Jessie Lee; Ed Donahue, trumpet; Andy Geiger, tenor saxophone; George Radebaugh, keyboards; Ted Enderle, bass; and Tom Svornich, percussion.
• The Urban Nothing Ensemble will perform at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 483, 2843 E. Myrtle St., Port Angeles. $10 cover charge.
• The 24th Kids’ Fishing Day will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Water Reuse Demonstration Pond at Carrie Blake Park, 500 N. Blake Ave., Sequim.
Kids 14 and younger, accompanied by an adult, are invited to participate.
No fishing license is required. Kids will be allowed to keep two fish each.
Worms and power bait will be provided, and a fish cleaning station will be available.
The derby is sponsored by the North Olympic Peninsula Chapter of Puget Sound Anglers, the city of Sequim and the state Department of Fish and Wildlife.

• The Sequim Prairie Grange will host a craft fair and flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the grange hall, 290 Macleay Road.
The grange’s newly remodeled kitchen will be open for a bake sale and lunch.

• Mike Mahoney will demonstrate his technique for turning a drinking cup at 10 a.m. Saturday during a meeting of the Strait Turners woodturners club at the Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road, Sequim.
Turners of all levels, and those who wish to learn about the hobby, are welcome.

• “The Wild Robot” will be shown at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Rainshadow Hall at the Dungeness River Nature Center, 1943 W. Hendrickson Road in Sequim.
The 2024 animated film follows Roz, an intelligent robot stranded on a desert island.
Donations to support educational activities at the center will be accepted.

• Dave Thielk will call for a community dance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Quimper Grange, 1219 Corona St., Port Townsend.
Music will be provided by the Bowman Brothers featuring Joe Fulton, Charles Espey and Alex Moro.
All dances will be taught; beginners and experienced dancers are welcome.
Admission is by $10 per person, $20 for a family.
