The Juan de Fuca Festival and Hood Canal Fjord Fest highlight the weekend of events on the North Olympic Peninsula.
• The Juan de Fuca Festival will bring a number of brand-new acts, including guitarist Luca Stricagnoli, rockers The West Coast Feed, tribute band Petty Fever, jazz group Duende Libre and Hillstomp both Friday and Saturday at several venues in Port Angeles.
Returning performers include blues and soul singer LeRoy Bell and His Only Friends, Rose’s Pawn Shop, bluesy rockers Dirty Cello, local bands Joy in Mudville and Deadwood Revival, singer-songwriter The Sam Chase and blues duo David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach.
Venues include the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St.; Field Arts & Events Hall, 201 W. Front St.; Naval Elks Lodge, 131 E. First St.; and a street fair on East Fourth Street between Lincoln and Peabody streets.
Tickets are $125 for an adult three-day pass or $60 for students; $35/$15 for Friday only; $65/$30 for Saturday only; or $60/$30 for Sunday only. Youths 17 and younger are admitted free to all festival events.

• Schola Galante will perform Return to Potsdam at 2 p.m. Saturday at Quimper Grange, 1219 Corona Ave., Port Townsend.
Tickets for the concert, part of the Early Music at the Grange series, are $20 per person at the door.
Ensemble members Dahti Blanchard, Lee Inman, Miguel Rodé and Douglass Hjelm will perform music from the court of Frederick the Great, who ruled Prussia from 1740-1786 and was a patron of the so-called Berlin School.
• David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road, Port Townsend.

Jacobs-Strain and Beach have been performing together since 2010 and currently perform between 70 and 100 shows each year on both the east and west coasts.
• Hood Canal Fjord Fest, the festival formerly known as ShrimpFest, returns to Brinnon under a new banner from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the open field just north of the Yelvik General Store, 251 Hjelvicks Road, Brinnon.
The two-day festival offers live music, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, a beer and wine garden as well as activities for children.
Tickets are $10 per person, per day; military veterans and children 12 and younger are admitted free.

• Peninsula Men’s Gospel Singers will perform their annual benefit concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Lopez Ave., Port Angeles.
Admission is free; all donations will be split between Obria Pacific NW, Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County and the Ramen Shop in Sequim.
The concert closes out the group’s 2023-2024 season of presenting sacred concerts and programs at retirement homes, community centers, churches, festivals and the Clallam Bay prison.
• The Salish Sea Early Music Festival will present Concerti by Bach, Vivaldi and Aubert at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1020 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Admission is by a $20 to $30 freewill offering at the door; youths 18 and younger will be admitted free.
The program consists of the Triple Concerto in A Minor for harpsichord, flute, violin and orchestra by Johann Sebastian Bach; the Flute Concerto La Notte by Antonio Vivaldi; the Violin Concerto in D Major, Opus 26, by Jacques Aubert; and the Concerto in D Minor by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.
Soloists Carrie Krause, violin; Jeffrey Cohan, flute; and Jonathan Oddie, harpsichord, will be joined by orchestra members violinist Elisabeth Phelps, violinist Courtney Kuroda, violist Victoria Gunn and cellist Martin Bonham.
• The Port Townsend Urban Sketchers will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at trailhead for the Larry Scott Trail before heading into the Port Townsend Boat Haven to sketch boatyard scenes.
The group will reconvene at the trailhead at noon to share their work and take a group photo.
The event is free and open to sketchers of all skill levels.

• The Quilcene Brinnon Garden Club will conduct its annual Plant and Bake Sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Brinnon Community Center, 306144 U.S. Highway 101, Brinnon.

• The Port Angeles Food Bank will sponsor Barkour, its Memorial Day weekend pub crawl fundraiser, at 7 p.m. Saturday in downtown Port Angeles.
The fundraiser will begin at The New Moon Craft Tavern, 130 S. Lincoln St., and progress through Angeles Brewing, 116 N. Lincoln St., and the Roosevelt, 115 E. Railroad Ave., before ending at Barhop, 124 W. Railroad Ave.
