Jefferson County Fair schedule

PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson County Fair begins Friday and runs through Saturday at the fairgrounds at 4907 Landes St. in Port Townsend.

Gates open at 8 a.m. Fairgrounds open to the public at 10 a.m.

Here are the schedules shared all three days:

• 10 a.m.: National anthem and buildings will open with 4-H cat show, Cat Building; 4-H/FFA/Open Wool Show, Goat Barn; Weaving, Homes Arts Department; Ring of Torti, outside Mac’s Building; and 4-H presentations and 4-H in Action, 4-H Building.

• 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Ducky Slide, Small Animal Barn.

• 1 p.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull.

• 2 p.m.: Reptile Isle, Mac’s Building.

Here are specifics for each day:

Friday

• 10 a.m.: 4-H/FFA Beef/Dairy show begins in covered arena.

• 10:30 a.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull.

• 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Sheep to Shawl, Goat Tent.

• 11:30 a.m.: Reptile Isle, Mac’s Building.

• Noon: Dukes of Dabob, Small Stage and Horse Show — English/Saddle Seat classes, arena.

• 2:15 p.m.: Joy in Mudville, Small Stage.

• 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Home Arts Demonstrations, Home Arts Department; and Rabbit/Poultry Show, Small Animal Barn.

• 3 p.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull; Judging Activity, Cat Building; Rabbit/Poultry Show, Small Animal Barn; and Sheep Show, Livestock Barn.

• 4 p.m.: Reptile Isle, Mac’s Building.

• 4:30 p.m.: Buck Ellard band, small stage.

• 5 p.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull; Free Kids’ Bingo, Cat Building; and 4-H/FFA/Open Llama Fitting and Showing.

• 6 p.m.: Duck Tape Activity, New Commercial Building.

• 7 p.m.: Future Tense, small stage; and Cat Knowledge Bowl, Cat Building.

Saturday

• 10 a.m.: National Anthem; Buildings open.

• 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Ducky Slide, Small Animal Barn.

• 10:30 a.m.: Library Story Time, small stage.

• 11 a.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull.

• 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Sheep to Shawl, Goat Tent.

• 11:30 a.m.: Feline Good Citizen, Cat Building.

• Noon: Olympic Express Big Band, small stage; and Horse Show — Gaming classes, Horse arena.

• 12:30 p.m.: 4-H Leader of the Year Presentation, 4-H Building.

• 1 p.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull.

• 2 p.m.: Reptile Isle, Mac’s Building; Port Townsend Summer Band, small stage.

• 3 p.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull; Watermelon Eating Contest, Ag Department.

• 3:30 p.m.: Washington state draft horse pulls, main stage; and Free Kids’ Bingo, Cat Building.

• 4 p.m.: James Howard Band, small stage.

• 5 p.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull; and Free Kids’ Craft activity, Cat Building.

• 5:30 p.m.: Master Showman, Covered Arena; and Lego Contest, New Commercial Building.

• 6 p.m.: Reptile Isle, Mac’s Building.

• 7 p.m.: Taylor Montgomery, small stage; 4-H Cat Knowledge Bowl, Cat Building.

Sunday

• 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Best Jam and Jelly Contest Entries accepted — judging to follow, Home Arts Department.

• 10:30 a.m.: Greatest Kids Show on Dirt, Got Bull; Open Cat Show — Type, Costume and Cage Decoration, Cat Building.

• 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: 4-H Youth presentations and demonstrations, 4-H Building.

• 11 a.m.: 4-by-4 Mud Drags, Main Stage.

• 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Annual Beef BBQ, Picnic Area)

• 11:30 a.m.: Reptile Isle, Mac’s Building.

• Noon: Llama Obstacles, Goat Tent

• 12:30 p.m.: Hippy and the Squids, small stage; and Best Jam and Jelly Contest, Home Arts Department.

• 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Cupcake Decorating Activity, New Commercial Building

• 2 p.m.: Reptile Isle, Mac’s Building; Cat Quiz Bowl, Cat Building; 4-H Fashion Review and $10 Challenge, 4-H Building; and Lad and Ladies Lead, Goat Tent.

• 2:30 p.m.: Bread and Gravy, small stage.

• 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Fiber Frenzy — Bring your knitting, crocheting, spinning and so on, Home Arts Department.

• 3:30 p.m.: Free Kids Craft Activity, Cat Building.

• 4 p.m.: Reptile Isle, Mac’s Building.
