Jammin’ in the Park set for Saturday

PORT ANGELES — Jammin’ in the Park will offer live music, a beer and wine garden, food, a car show and a special play zone for children from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The event, hosted by Nor’Wester Rotary and Koenig Suburu, will be in Waterfront Park on the west end of Railroad Avenue in Port Angeles. Admission is free.

“We encourage everybody to come down and enjoy a great day of live music,” said Scott Butler, president of Nor’Wester Rotary.

On tap to perform are Bread & Gravy, Black Diamond Junction, Buck Ellard and 3 Too Many.

The gathering is in compliance with all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, Butler said. All events are outdoors, and tables will be socially distanced.

“We encourage people to wear masks,” he said.

The Clallam County Health and Human Services also said that the event “appears to conform to all current local and state COVID regulations.”

Proceeds from food and drink sales and from sponsorships will go toward providing scholarships to local students and other Rotary projects.

Sponsors include 7 Cedars Casino, Albright Networks, Angeles Collision, Angeles Electric, Arabian Anti-Piracy, Alliance Callis & Associates, D.A. Davidson, Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, Doc Reiss (CRS) Town & Country Realty, First Federal, Merrill & Ring Inc., NTI Surveying, Olympic Veterinary Clinic, Pacific Office Equipment, Peninsula Behavioral Health, Port of Port Angeles, RJ Services, Sound Bank, State Farm, Susie Sanders and Zenovic & Associates Inc.

Nor’Wester Rotary said it also thanks Port Townsend Brewing, Harbinger Winery, Bourbon West, Peninsula Bottling, First Step, Airport Garden and YMCA.
