PORT TOWNSEND — Irish fiddle player Gerry O’Connor will perform with guitarist Don Penzien on Thursday.
The concert is at 7:30 p.m. at the Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road in Port Townsend.

O’Connor has been involved in Irish music and dance since the late 1960s in duet, trios and quartet Céili bands.
Regarded as one of the great fiddle players of his generation, O’Connor has recorded 14 albums.
His first solo album, “Journeyman,” was listed as one of the top five albums of 2004 by the Irish Times.
He has performed with all of the leading performers of the Irish music world, including members of the Chieftains, Boys of the Lough, Planxty, De Dannan and Bothy Band.
Penzien, a traditional Irish guitarist, often plays concerts and festivals with Gailfean, The Máirtín de Cógáin Project and Haley Richardson.
