Instructor art exhibit on display at Peninsula College

PORT ANGELES — The Community Education: Instructor Art Exhibition is on display at Peninsula College until Nov. 20.

The free exhibit can be viewed weekdays in the art gallery at the Pirate Union Building on the college’s Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

The exhibit showcases the college’s Community Education instructors across a wide range of media, including ceramics, beadwork, watercolor, monoprints, quilts and textiles.

“Community Education instructors are artists who bring their knowledge and passion into the classroom,” said Camilla Rico, dean of Community Education and Campus Enterprises. “This exhibition is an opportunity for the public to experience the breadth of their creativity while celebrating the important role they play in inspiring students of all ages.”
