PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College will begin its Winter 2025 Studium Generale program with “Inspired by Art: A collection of ekphrastic poetry” at 12:35 p.m. Thursday.

Future presentations in the series include “Honoring the Legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” on Jan. 16, “Experiencing Conflict as a Gift” with Ankur Shah Delight on Jan. 23, “Awareness and Prevention of Human Trafficking” with Mark Nichols on Jan. 30, “Fulbright Exchange to India” with Rob DeCou on Feb. 6, “Mangroves: An Invaluable Ally Against Climate Change” with Alfredo Quarto on Feb. 13, “Undersea Research and Opportunities for Rural College Students” with John R.
